Technician III, Facilities Services

Facilities Services Technician III, Facilities Services plays a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems. They are responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities specific to a pharmaceutical setting, adhering to strict regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, potential issues, and develop preventive maintenance plans; Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations; Troubleshoot complex problems with facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure, and provide technical expertise to resolve issues; Oversee and perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance; Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services; Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of facility systems; Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed; Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills; Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team; Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

Certificate in a technical field or a technical trade school or High School Diploma; 5-7 years' of experience
