Teller (Part-Time)

To provide personal service by greeting and assisting members with financial transactions on all types of accounts. Receives and pays out money and keeps records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

Provide personal service by greeting and assisting members with financial transactions on all types of accounts; Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amount, and examine checks for endorsement; Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and member balances; Enter members' transactions into computer and issue receipts; Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds; Order daily supply of cash and count incoming cash; Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift; Explain, promote, or sell credit union products or services; Remove deposits from, count and balance cash in automated teller machines and night depository; Accept loan payments; Develop an understanding of Credit Union philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and comply with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, OFAC and all other applicable State and Federal Financial Institution Regulations

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; A passion for people, innovation, and growth
