Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Caseware’s web-based SaaS products; Perform and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing; Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability; Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios; Investigate, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis; Improve test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes; Mentor and coach junior SDET team members; Promote and advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization

Requirements

Demonstrable experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products; Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving; Hands-on experience with test automation using modern tools and frameworks, specifically Cypress; Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies; Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-structured test cases and code; Comfortable working within cross-functional, international teams; Strong coordination skills and the ability to promote continuous QA awareness within the team; Good command of both Danish and English; Nice to have:; Experience in domains such as audit, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software; Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence; ISTQB or other QA-related certifications; Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures; Experience contributing to test strategies or quality improvement initiatives
