Ticket Seller- Part Time

The Ticket Seller under the direction of the Box Office Manager processes ticket sales, handles will call delivery and assists patrons with any customer service issues.

Responsibilities

Process ticket sales at the box office; Provide exceptional customer service; Answer questions concerning event schedules, event prices, and ticket policies; Balance all applicable transactions for the date of service and complete all necessary reports before departure; Verify all receipts from daily sales and return to secure area for deposit; Record and investigate all overages and shortages, and promptly report to Box Office Manager; Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed; Follow all designated opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure and energy efficient

Requirements

High School or GED Certificate graduate; Minimum of one (1) year work related experience and/or training; Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills; Demonstrated knowledge of record keeping and reconciliation; Excellent customer service and public relations skills; Demonstrated knowledge of ticket selling/box office operations; Ability to count money, make change accurately

Nice to have

Ticketmaster experience; Bilingual; Experience with computerized ticket systems
