Torcher

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Torch Cutter, Monday to Friday from 6:00am-3:00pm. In this role, you will be responsible for operating torch equipment to cut and trim various materials.

Responsibilities

Operating torch equipment to cut and trim different metal materials; Setting up and preparing torch equipment and ensuring proper safety measures are in place; Performing cutting tasks with precision and accuracy; Inspecting finished workpieces and making adjustments as needed; Assisting with material handling and preparation tasks, such as moving and securing workpieces using clamps or fixtures; Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of equipment and materials

Requirements

Basic understanding of torch equipment operation and safety procedures; Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work; Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; Ability to stand and bend for long periods of time and lift objects as required; Comfortable working outdoors and being exposed to all the elements

Nice to have

Previous experience in metalworking, welding, fabrication, or a related field
