Trading Manager – Fresh Produce

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading fresh produce producers as Trading Manager has arisen. With a glowing reputation across the industry, they have well established trading relationships across the retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels. The business specialises in the growing, supplying and delivering fresh fruit. Operating from two UK sites the business currently turnovers in excess of £150m. The business pride themselves on offering the highest quality of service whilst ensuring investment in farming, people and their production facilities is maintained. Following significant business growth, the business has created an opening for an additional Trading Manager to join the team. As a Trading Manager, you will take direct responsibility for a number of National Foodservice and Fresh Produce Wholesalers. Reporting into the Senior Trading Manager you will work in an autonomous environment with the ability to influence business decisions. As well as working with the wider commercial team, you will liaise with the Quality, Forecasting Procurement teams to ensure the best delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

Take direct responsibility for a number of National Foodservice and Fresh Produce Wholesalers; report into the Senior Trading Manager; work in an autonomous environment with the ability to influence business decisions; work with the wider commercial team; liaise with the Quality, Forecasting Procurement teams to ensure the best delivery to customers

Requirements

Driven and dynamic individual; minimum of 12 months account management experience within the food industry; self-motivated; keen eye for detail; loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy
