Veterinary Associate - Greencross Caulfield South

We're seeking a veterinarian with 4+ years of clinical experience who is confident, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will enjoy a varied caseload and be supported by an experienced veterinary and nursing team while maintaining the autonomy to manage your own cases.

Responsibilities

Managing routine and complex medical consultations; Developing diagnostic and treatment plans using evidence-based medicine; Performing routine soft tissue surgery, including desexing procedures; Performing dental procedures and dental treatment planning; Communicating effectively and compassionately with clients; Working collaboratively within a team-focused environment; Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate

Requirements

4+ years of clinical experience; Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations; Confident in managing routine and complex medical consultations; Confident in developing diagnostic and treatment plans using evidence-based medicine; Confident in performing routine soft tissue surgery, including desexing procedures; Confident in performing dental procedures and dental treatment planning; Confident in communicating effectively and compassionately with clients; Confident in working collaboratively within a team-focused environment; Confident in supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate
