Voice Talent Required - Sinhala (female) - Remote

Professional or semi-professional voice talents with a passion for language and technology are sought for an exciting project. Work involves recording voice content for AI and language technology, including voice cloning / TTS training, for LILT's global community of linguists and language professionals. Applicants apply with an English-language resume/CV, then submit voice samples and/or take a test, and are onboarded once selected for a project.

Responsibilities

Deliver natural, conversational voice recordings for the project; Follow technical recording specifications; Meet tight delivery deadlines for fast-turnaround projects when engaged

Requirements

Must be native speaker of the target locale; Experience with voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming; Access to a home recording setup (recording software, microphone, headset/speakers, audio interface, professional digital audio workstation, software, plugins); Treated space, quiet environment, free from background noise, music, clicks, muffling; Able to follow specific technical requirements when recording (volume level, file naming, format, gaps between segments, audio quality); Able to provide demo, sample recordings, voiceover samples; Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and able to meet tight delivery deadlines when engaged; Open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training; Depending on the project, may undergo a test in the module to be vetted against all requirements; Female voice, "mature" (~35–55 years old), natural rather than polished/robotic; Conversational, likeable, friendly, empathetic, patient personality and tone; Easy to follow, clear speech with consistent, moderate pace and natural pauses
