VP Domain Leader

VP, Domain Leader at Sonar: strategic architect of Sonar’s core product ecosystem, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), overseeing a high-performing organization of approximately 20 product professionals. Owns the Sonar Platform and Code Orchestration layer, the Sonar Storefront, and champions Developer Experience (DevEx).

Responsibilities

Define and drive a compelling vision aligned with Sonar’s long-term business goals; Convert complex business needs into actionable product initiatives, balancing technical debt with rapid innovation; Act as the primary advocate for the domain internally and externally; Lead the demonstration of MVPs and ensure the domain is primed for Go-To-Market success; Serve as the strategic smoother for cross-domain initiatives; Take full accountability for domain health, tracking ARR and Product Adoption metrics; Lead the integration of AI into the product lifecycle and the product itself

Requirements

10+ years of Product Management experience; at least 6+ years in an international leadership capacity managing managers (GPMs/Directors) in fast-paced technical environments; track record of delivering large-scale deployments to B2B customers with measurable business impact; deep technical understanding of Platform infrastructure, APIs, and CLI tools; exceptional ability to influence and inspire; proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain a multi-disciplinary team; comfort operating in an organization with 30%+ YoY growth; hands-on experience with AI technologies
