Weighbridge Clerk

Responsibilities

Weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles using a computerized weighbridge system; Recording load details (materials, weight, driver information) accurately; Issuing tickets, delivery notes, and paperwork; Monitoring site traffic and directing drivers safely; Communicating with plant operators, drivers, and management; Ensuring compliance with company procedures, legal requirements, and health & safety standards; Reporting discrepancies, faults, or issues with loads or equipment

Requirements

Weighbridge process operations; Haulage process operations; Haulage legislation; Materials product knowledge; IT Systems being used; At all times to adhere to company procedures regarding Health & Safety; Full Driving Licence

Nice to have

Attention to detail and accuracy; Good communication skills; Ability to use IT systems and weighbridge software; Organisation and multitasking; Knowledge of site safety procedures
