Wheel Lathe Operative

As a Wheel Lathe Operative, you will be operating the wheel lathe machine, which is used primarily to reprofile and the maintenance of the wheels.

Responsibilities

Operating and programming the wheel lathe machine; Measuring and inspecting wheels; Making sure the lathe and associated tools are properly maintained; Reading technical drawings; Ensuring safety and compliance is upheld at all times to company standards.

Requirements

1-year minimum experience as a Machinist; Must complete a criminal convictions questionnaire as part of the application process; Be able to pass a DBS; Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test; Be able to pass a full rail medical – this will include, eyesight, hearing, heart, lungs, etc…; Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment; Happy to help mentality/attitude.
