Working Student | IT (Werkstudent)

We're looking for a motivated Working Student (Werkstudent) to join our IT team and gain hands-on experience supporting a fast-paced, AI-driven technology company. This is an excellent opportunity for a university student who wants to develop practical IT skills while continuing their studies. You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals, learning how technology operations support a growing global business. Based in our office, you'll gain exposure to modern workplace technologies, IT service management, hardware operations, and AI-powered tools that are used every day across DeepL.

Responsibilities

Prepare, configure, cleanse, and manage IT hardware for employees; Maintain accurate IT asset records and update internal systems to reflect hardware changes; Learn and follow IT operational processes in a live production environment; Support employees by assisting with IT requests and incidents through Jira Service Management and the Atlassian suite; Gain hands-on experience with corporate technologies including Google Workspace, Zoom, and Claude AI; Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring equipment is prepared and tracked correctly; Provide general administrative and ad hoc support to the IT team as required; Continuously develop your technical knowledge while contributing to the smooth running of our internal IT operations

Requirements

Curious, organised, and excited to learn; Current enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; A genuine interest in IT support, workplace technology, or IT operations; Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, or troubleshooting; Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across the business; A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks; Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and working in an AI-first environment; Good level of English written and verbal

Nice to have

Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity platforms is beneficial.
