X-Ray Technologist

Responsibilities

Producing high-quality X-ray images with precision, compassion, and confidence; Performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning; Evaluating own images for technical quality and producing diagnostic-grade results; Maintaining clean, complete, real-time documentation; Managing own workflow, keeping room ready, and troubleshooting equipment issues; Providing proper positioning, clear explanation of procedures, and genuine care for patient comfort and safety; Maintaining infection control standards; Modeling best practices and providing hands-on guidance to students

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; Valid state licensure current (where required); BLS certification current or in progress; Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program; Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1-2 years of X-ray experience; outpatient or ambulatory care experience
