2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains all plant equipment; Assists in prioritizing daily work schedules in conjunction with the Facility Engineer and Operations team; Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner; Coordinates with plant personnel, minimizing down time for repairs; Performs Facility Maintenance to include the proper upkeep of the facility and grounds; Performs research and orders spare parts to expedite machine repair and keep costs under control; As required provides training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum; Two or more years experience operating and/or repairing machine shop equipment (CNC lathes, Grinders, Mills, etc.); Experience with PLC’s, Fanuc and Mitsubishi Controllers; Ability to lift 125 pounds with assistance; Exceptional ability to solve problems and apply problem solving logic in an efficient manner; Must have a strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly evaluate problems and generate solutions; Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and controlled manner; Must be able to take direction and have the ability to effectively work with people; Must be available for all shifts and be on call as required; Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting
