Account Manager, Planning

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Account Manager to join our team, taking the lead on a varied, high-profile portfolio of transport, energy, and alcohol brands. The Account Manager will support day-to-day account management, media strategy coordination, and flawless execution of campaign activity.

Responsibilities

Lead the charge in coordinating media strategy; build and target audiences across addressable and non-addressable media; design and outline strategic connections ecosystem; collaborate with internal channel specialists to translate client briefs into multi-platform media plans; act as primary contact for client marketing teams; oversee campaign setup, trafficking, and launch phases; review performance data and campaign reports to discuss optimisation strategies and budget adjustments; manage media bookings, oversee client billing, and ensure precise financial reconciliation; maintain structured internal working processes; support and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Proven experience working in a media or digital agency environment; strong understanding of the media landscape spanning brand-building and performance-driven campaigns; familiarity with audience planning and insight tools; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent attention to detail; strong financial numeracy; dedication to delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines; proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; embrace WPP & WPP Media shared core values

Nice to have

Experience with media booking tools like Adazzle or DDS is a major plus, though not necessary.
