Accounting Analyst - Dutch Speaker

You will be supporting the finance department by performing a variety of accounting tasks to support accurate financial reporting. You will be assisting with preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data. The selected candidate will be based in Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Support the finance department by performing accounting tasks for accurate financial reporting; Assist with preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data; Issue invoices accurately and promptly; Process payments and maintain reconciliation of accounts; Follow up on overdue payments and monitor collections; Review and process vendor invoices for payment; Maintain AP records and reconcile statements; Assist in preparation of financial statements; Ensure financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and regulations; Perform month-end entries and allocations including GL reconciliations and monthly journal entry bookings; Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts; Identify financial trends, opportunities, and risks; Assist in completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements; Tax/Annual filing; Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the controller

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an accounting role; Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS); Proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential; Legally authorized to work in the Netherlands
