Accounting Services Manager

Our client is an independent accounting firm with multiple locations across the country providing audit, tax, risk, and forensic advisory services for entrepreneurial, public, non-profit, and individual clients.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire accounting and closing process for a diverse group of clients; Analyze financial statements, identify anomalies and variances, and provide proactive insights and recommendations to improve clients’ processes and overall business performance; Review financial data prepared by the engagement team; Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses to clients and stakeholders; Issue timely and comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; Lead the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts; Supervise client engagements and ensure adherence to technical quality control standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; 6-8 years of experience supervising an accounting team and managing multiple clients; Knowledge of local, state, and federal government reporting requirements; Knowledge of the latest tools and technologies utilized in a CAS practice; Advanced QuickBooks Online skills; Knowledge of other cloud-based software applications
