Accounts Semi Senior

Jerroms is looking for an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant to join our busy and friendly accounts team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries and business sizes, giving you excellent variety and responsibility within the role. The Role: You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, building strong client relationships and overseeing accounts work from preparation through to completion.

Responsibilities

Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies; Preparing corporation tax returns; Preparing personal tax returns; Preparing and managing monthly VAT returns; Preparing and managing monthly payroll; Liaising directly with clients; Managing jobs through to completion

Requirements

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice; Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a friendly team

Nice to have

AAT qualified or part-qualified or working towards ACA/ACCA; Good communication and client relationship skills; Organised and able to manage own portfolio of work; Work well within a friendly team environment; Experience with Microsoft Office; Good general computer skills
