Analytical Services Technician

Depending on business needs the following shift patterns will be required: Shift pattern (open to change) 11:30 - 20:00 Monday - Thursday, 11:30 - 19:00 Friday. Purpose of the post: We are looking for a details driven person to join our Sample Registration and Preparation team. You will play a key role in the smooth running of our laboratory operations by ensuring every sample is received, checked, registered, prepared, stored, shipped, and disposed of accurately and on time. Working closely with internal Eurofins laboratories and subcontractor sites, you will help maintain exceptional service standards and support the full life cycle of sample handling.

Responsibilities

Receive samples and check incoming deliveries; Register samples in LIMS; Prepare samples for analysis; Prioritise customer samples based on urgency and client requirements; Manage subcontract shipments; Maintain sample storage; Dispose of samples; Handle queries and mailboxes; Support material requests; Collaborate across teams; Perform general administrative duties; Follow quality and safety standards

Requirements

An interest in science, food, quality, or laboratory work; Willingness to learn and take part in ongoing training and professional development

Nice to have

Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential; Experience in a laboratory, production, quality, or technical environment is helpful; Understanding of quality standards or working in a regulated environment is an advantage but not required
