Application Admin II Pathology

Diagnoses and corrects computer systems issues. Provides hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support. Recommends software and hardware enhancements. Builds, configures, and troubleshoots software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades, specific to Laboratory Information Systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses and corrects computer systems issues; Provides hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support; Recommends software and hardware enhancements; Builds, configures, and troubleshoots software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades specific to Laboratory Information Systems; Provides technical support for non-production and production environments; Serves as escalation point for support and provides on-call support after hours; Works with technical and functional personnel to fulfill technical support requests; Applies patches and delivers minor and major application upgrades; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of systems admin experience required; Or equivalent combination of education and experience; NYS Medical Technologist License upon hire required
