Assembler

We have an opening at our Federal Way, WA facility as a Mechanical Assembler. This is a second shift position.

Responsibilities

Assembly and disassembly of gearboxes; installing, aligning, adjusting, and fitting subassemblies; setting up and operating boring bar, drill press, milling and honing machine; applying inspection techniques and tools; ensuring a quality product is provided consistently while continuing to strive for improvement

Requirements

High school education; previous manufacturing experience; ideally a minimum of three to five years' experience; experience working with large, heavy manufacturing equipment; ability to run overhead crane and forklifts safely and efficiently; ability to apply inspection techniques and use inspection tools efficiently; willing to work with and train candidates with a high level of initiative and personal motivation

Knowledge of papermaking machinery
