Assistant Operation Manager (Hardlines)

Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the laboratory quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and related accreditation requirements.; Plan and conduct internal audits and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.; Ensure the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of laboratory data and test reports.; Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency, quality and timely service delivery.; Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.; Monitor testing activities, results and laboratory performance.; Support process improvements and operational excellence across the laboratory.; Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high service standards.; Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Science or a related discipline.; Minimum 8 years of relevant laboratory experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.; Solid knowledge of ISO 17025 and HOKLAS requirements.; Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.; Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.; Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.; Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
