Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager's absence and/or when working opposing shifts; Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring team members; Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner; Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger for special orders and outside purchases; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and accurately; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker/merchandising tasks are delegated and completed; Ensure team members comply with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties; Assist store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, equipment, and delivery vehicles; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
