Associate Veterinarian

Poinciana Pet Clinic, a full-service small animal practice in Poinciana, FL, is hiring a motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our friendly, team-focused clinic. We provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care and pride ourselves on compassionate client communication and a collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

Provide medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats; Perform routine wellness exams, diagnostics, soft-tissue surgery, and dental procedures; Communicate treatment plans and follow-up clearly and compassionately to clients; Collaborate with support staff to maintain efficient patient workflow and excellent patient care; Participate in practice quality improvement, record-keeping (medical records, SOAP notes), and compliance

Requirements

DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school; State of Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain); Strong clinical and surgical skills; Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills; Team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic; Proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry; Weekend availability
