ASST PATIENT CARE MANAGER

The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree; Nursing or other related field of study; Associate's degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire; Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS); Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; Strong computer skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills; Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes

Nice to have

Master's Degree (preferred education level); Nursing (preferred field of study)
