Responsibilities

Mix and bake ingredients to produce bread, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, or other baked goods.; Perform any other duties as assigned.; Assist Pastry Chef in expanding bread programs and offerings throughout the Mayflower.; Assist Pastry Chef in launching a Grab & Go Pastries & Sweets program for guests of the Mayflower.; Ensure proper storage of food items not used, following all proper standards for refrigeration and storage.; Supervise, operate, maintain, and properly clean all kitchen equipment.; Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by local, state & federal Health Department regulations are

Requirements

General knife handling, food safety & sanitation knowledge; Comfortable working in a fast paced and high energy environment; High volume restaurant or bakery experience preferred; Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly and constantly improve; Able to follow recipes without direct supervision; Strong time management skills and able to execute dishes consistently and effectively; Full availability (including weekends)
