Locum Band 6 / Band 7 Mental Health Occupational Therapist – Flexible Contract in Nottinghamshire! Are you a Band 6 or Band 7 Mental Health Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Nottinghamshire? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility! Join our team as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist and play a key role in supporting service users across inpatient mental health services.

Responsibilities

Manage your own caseload of mental health patients; Deliver comprehensive OT assessments and evidence-based interventions; Work across acute, secure and rehabilitation mental health settings; Contribute to MDT formulation, risk assessment and care planning; Provide supervision to junior staff (where applicable); Support recovery-focused care within structured therapeutic environments; Work closely with MDT and external services to deliver holistic care; Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to governance standards

Requirements

Current and valid HCPC registration; Experience working in mental health settings; Ability to manage an independent caseload; Strong clinical reasoning and risk management skills; Excellent communication and team working skills; Ability to work in fast-paced and complex environments; Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Nice to have

Inpatient mental health setting experience (desirable); Experience supporting or supervising junior staff (desirable for Band 7)
