The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures accurate drink preparation, maintains bar cleanliness, promotes responsible alcohol service, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient bar environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.; Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.; Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.; Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.; Process payments accurately using POS systems, handle cash and tabs responsibly.; Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.; Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.; Assist with bar opening and closing duties.; Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.; Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.; Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).; Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.; Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.; Strong customer service and communication skills.; Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.; Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.; Understanding of responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations.; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.; Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.; Attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness.
