Bartender

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Bartender to join our team! The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest's needs while preparing perfect beverages in a timely manner. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area; Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily; Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu; Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests; Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversation; Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff; Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution; Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation; Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits; Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily; Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control; Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest; Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank; Other duties as assigned; Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements

Prior bartending experience required; Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests; Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices; Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 75 lbs. through a crowded room; Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.; Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance
