Battery Cell R&D Engineer

Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. We innovate in the next generation electric vehicle and energy storage technologies (lithium batteries and related systems) with the aim to accelerate electrified transportation and achieve sustainable development.

Responsibilities

Ensure stable manufacturing processes in Pack/Module pilot production line, hitting target yield, capabilities, throughput, and OEE; Collaborate with Quality and other teams on control plans and in-process quality checks; Support initial process qualification, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate problem-solving using quality tools; Develop and maintain process documents, conduct training for production employees

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering; BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical/Materials Engineering
