Behavior Technician (BT/RBT)

Cove ABA, a Finni Health company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to join our team in Floral Park, NY. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children in their homes/school, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact on their development and daily life.

Responsibilities

Deliver in-person ABA therapy in a child's home/school; Follow behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA; Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors; Participate in supervision sessions with a BCBA; Attend required team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Experience working with children; Passion for supporting children with special needs; Reliable transportation; Willingness to obtain RBT certification within a set timeframe; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods; Comfortable engaging in play and physical activity with children; Must pass a background check
