Blast Operator

This job entails working in a fast-paced production environment. Main tasks include operation of blast equipment, cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint/shipping, as well as operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

Operation of blast equipment to blast parts clean for NDE inspection and for surface preparation for paint application; Cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint according to engineering drawings; Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 15 Tons); Prepping parts for shipment; Maintaining general cleanliness of work areas

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; Basic discipline aptitude/attitude; Must be able to pass Blueprint Reading course (provided by Voith); Must be able to meet physical demands including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs
