WE ARE SEEKING A BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN TO SUPPORT MEDICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR IN A HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENT. THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING BIOMEDICAL DEVICES ARE FUNCTIONING SAFELY AND EFFICIENTLY THROUGH PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING, AND REPAIR.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and safety inspections on biomedical equipment; Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of medical devices; Respond to service requests and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner; Document all service activities, maintenance, and repairs accurately; Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper equipment operation and usage; Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and basic configuration; Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Requirements

2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance; Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; Familiarity with a variety of biomedical devices (e.g., infusion pumps, patient monitors, beds); Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice to have

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field; Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting; Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order tracking; Manufacturer certifications or training
