Responsibilities

Salary: £30,654–£32,292 per year; Gratuities: £351–£526 per month (average, points-based); About being a Building Maintenance Technician at Gilpin; Set within the Lake District National Park, Gilpin Hotel & Lake House is part of Relais & Châteaux and Pride of Britain Hotels, recognised for exceptional hospitality, refined presentation, and warm, personalised service.; ✨ Your Role as Building Maintenance Technician; Carries out day-to-day building maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across the estate.; Supports planned preventative maintenance to keep facilities safe, compliant, and functioning smoothly.; Responds to maintenance requests with efficiency, care, and a focus on the guest journey.; Ensures all equipment, systems, and spaces meet safety and compliance standards.; Assists with upkeep of grounds, spa facilities, and accommodation areas as required.; Maintains accurate records, completes checklists, and reports issues promptly.; Works collaboratively with Estates colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.; Upholds the high standards of presentation that define the Gilpin guest experience.

Requirements
