Business Development Manager

Employment contract Full-time Hybrid work

Publication date: 31/08/2026

The Business Development Manager role supports Kepler's new business efforts across the UK and Europe, working closely with the Managing Director to support new client acquisition. It is an execution-focused role: keeping the sales pipeline accurate and up to date, leading partnership development with relevant clients and intermediaries, supporting pitch and RFP activity and producing high-quality sales materials. The role does not carry ownership of BD strategy, revenue target or team management – these sit with more senior members of the UK Central Team and there is the opportunity to develop working relationships and benefit from the support of the US Business Development team.

Maintain the UK/Europe sales pipeline tracker and prepare regular, accurate pipeline status updates for the Managing Director; Support senior team members in sourcing new pitch opportunities by helping to research prospects and coordinate outreach; Help manage relationships with media consultants day-to-day — logging updates, scheduling touchpoints, and flagging new RFP opportunities to senior leads; Join prospect intro calls and meetings, take ownership of follow-up actions, and track them through to completion; Manage the RFI/RFP response process (timelines, process, delivery, design etc): coordinating input from subject-matter contributors, formatting responses, and tracking deadlines. Ensure the Kepler narrative is being brought forward; Support with pitches, ensure best pitch practice; Draft and tailor sales materials for prospective clients, for review and sign-off by senior team members; Work seamlessly with Marketing - support for website and external sales/marketing content, working to guidance provided by executives and department leads.

Requirements

3–5 years' experience in media, advertising or business development; Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, client-ready materials; Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines; A proactive, collaborative approach, comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders across the business
