Business Systems Analyst, Procure-to-Pay

The Business Technology - Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team builds and supports the systems that run how DoorDash buys and pays for goods and services, from sourcing and procurement through accounts payable. As a Business Systems Analyst on this team, you will build, maintain, and improve the systems that power Procure-to-Pay processes, including the back-end configuration and automations for systems such as Coupa, Zip, and IntelAgree, and support them on a daily basis. You will work with Finance partners to understand their needs, turn them into clear requirements and designs, configure and test solutions, and support the teams who use them. A core part of the role is finding opportunities to remove manual work through process automation, system integrations, and AI tools, and delivering those improvements from idea to launch. You will report into the Lead, Finance Systems on the Business Technology - P2P team in the People Technology & Insights organization.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Procure-to-Pay systems, including workflows, approvals, integrations, and reports; Resolve system requests and incidents, find root causes, and implement durable improvements; Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Sourcing, IT, and other teams to turn their goals into clear requirements, designs, and tested solutions; Streamline manual work through automations and system integrations; Explore ways to apply AI and automation to relevant workflows; Plan, manage, and execute projects and keep partners informed; Support periodic SOX audits with Internal Audit, Accounts Payable, and Procurement, and apply sound design and change-management practices; Learn how Finance systems fit together, contribute to the technology roadmap, and continuously improve processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience supporting, configuring, or implementing Finance or business systems, including hands-on work with Coupa; Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, including direct and indirect procurement, sourcing, and accounts payable, and how they connect to ERP and related systems; Experience with Finance systems and integrations between them, and comfort working with tools such as Coupa, Zip, IntelAgree, etc.; Ability to gather requirements from business partners, translate them into clear designs and test plans, and deliver working solutions; Experience building automations and/or using AI tools in Finance system workflows; Comfort working with data to find root causes, answer questions, and improve productivity and efficiency; Understanding of system controls, documentation, and change management, with audit support experience; Clear communication with both technical and non-technical partners; Organized, takes ownership, and can manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, growing environment
