Cardiology Tech I - Heart Station PRN Days

Responsibilities

Maintains Heart Station operational requirements and professional competence; Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective positive and professional manner; Administers patient care as mandated by licensure, certification or registration; Maintains professional and technical knowledge of Heart Station event monitors, teletrace issues, and Holter monitors; Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient procedures are provided in accordance with Age-Specific Procedure Guidelines for the specific age groups served

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent; Responsible for finding coverage if called for weekend list; Solid oral and written communication skills; Ability to obtain/communicate information to patients of varying age group and at their level of comprehension; Good computer skills; Strong organizational and time management skills; CPR certification required within 6 months of hire

Nice to have

Previous experience with patient care; Certified Cardiographic Technician
