Care Assistant

In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care and support to a client living in the Bryncae area. The client has a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia and requires assistance with catheter and bowel care. You will support the client with personal care, safe manual handling, and a range of day-to-day activities, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. The client lives at home with their family and leads an active social life. They enjoy watching sports, spending time with friends, and getting out and about in the community. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive individual who can build a positive rapport with the client and support them in achieving their daily goals and enjoying the activities they love.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to a client living in the Bryncae area; Assist with catheter and bowel care; Support the client with personal care; Perform safe manual handling; Support day-to-day activities to maintain independence and quality of life; Build a positive rapport with the client and support achieving daily goals and enjoying activities

Requirements

Willing to enhance and learn new skills; Happy to work alongside pets; Friendly, caring person enthusiastic to help clients with daily routines; Full UK driving license required
