Care Assistant

Independent Community Care Management Limited, part of CCH, is seeking a caring and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support a 19-year-old client living with drug-resistant epilepsy due to cortical dysplasia, experiencing multiple types of seizures, as part of a 2:1 care package in her family home. The role involves personal care, PEG feeding and medication administration, seizure monitoring and management, moving and handling, suctioning (as required), and engaging in sensory play, arts and crafts, story time, and outings. Full training and ongoing clinical support will be provided.

Requirements

Non-smoker; Comfortable working in a home with a pet dog; Available for weekday and weekend day shifts; Caring and dedicated; Brings energy, empathy, and enthusiasm; Values building meaningful relationships; Enjoys creative play and engaging activities; Able to deliver attentive, high-quality care; No complex care experience required
