Care Assistant

We are actively recruiting for compassionate Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our dedicated teams supporting service users across the heart of the community. As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities

Supporting with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming); Assisting with medication (preparation and safe administration); Helping with mobility using aids/equipment safely and supporting rehabilitation after hospital stays; Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support; Carrying out light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, household tasks); Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships; Encouraging social inclusion and participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities; Promoting independence and ensuring dignity and choice; Collecting prescriptions and providing medication reminders; Observing and reporting changes in condition; Providing emotional support; Maintaining accurate records; Ensuring safety and responding to emergencies; Collaborating with colleagues, professionals, and families

Requirements

Right to work within the UK; Willingness and ability to travel between clients within the local community; Compassion; Communication skills; Problem-solving skills; Commitment to respectful, high-quality care; Availability to cover full-time split shifts (07:00-14:00 and 16:00-21:00)
