Care Assistant

We’re currently recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants to join our dedicated team supporting service users across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Personal care (bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, toileting, and grooming); Medication support (collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and administration); Meal preparation and nutrition (preparing tasty meals and mealtime assistance); Mobility and equipment support (getting around safely, transfers, and using mobility aids); Housekeeping (making/changing beds, laundry, tidying, light cleaning, and emptying commodes); Companionship and emotional support (providing a listening ear, engaging conversations, and outings); Encourage social engagement and family connections; Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family; Maintain accurate documentation of care provided; Respond to emergencies safely and effectively; Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Requirements

No social care experience required; Access to a vehicle is strictly required due to the geographical nature of this role (you must hold a valid driving licence); Genuine compassion and respect for others; Strong communication and listening skills; A positive, can-do attitude; Problem-solving abilities; Reliability and a caring, supportive nature; The right to work in the UK
