Carpenter Handyman with Drywall Experience

We are fully booked if you're looking for steady work. Craftsman with Carpentry, Drywall, Electrical and Plumbing skills needed. Work independently. We have office staff to handle the paperwork for you so you can do the work in a family atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry, drywall, plumbing and electrical repairs in homes and commercial properties; Complete small to medium maintenance/repairs and mid-size home improvement projects; Communicate with customers about scope of work, cost estimates, and manage expectations; Deliver a consistent and remarkably better customer experience; Leave customers thrilled and open doors to future work; Encourage customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Invoice appropriately, source materials, and collect payment; Follow the Mr. Handyman Way and document jobs; Wear proper PPE and booties

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools (day-to-day tools of the trade); Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of: Carpentry work, Bathroom improvements, Kitchen improvements, Painting both inside and out, Drywall work minor and major repairs, General plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, Floor installation and refurbishing, Familiar with building codes; Fluent English (Required)
