Responsibilities

Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about scope of work and costs; Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers; Follow the Mr. Handyman Way; Encourage customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Find additional ways to be of service to the customer while on site; Invoice appropriately, source needed materials, and collect payment from the customer; Complete work correctly the first time; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry work, minor electrical work, drywall, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall minor and major repairs, general plumbing and electrical, floor installation and refurbishing; Self-starter; Take pride in the work you complete; Understand company vision; Customer focused; Reliable and responsible; Confident in skills and abilities; Comfortable speaking with customers about the work to be performed; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way
