Carpentry Handyman

Responsibilities

Completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers about scope of work and costs; Delivering a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers; Following the Mr. Handyman Way; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys (NPS); Meeting revenue targets by finding additional ways to be of service; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing needed materials, and collecting payment from customers; Ensuring work is done correctly the first time for one-year work guarantee

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry work, minor electrical work, drywall, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work minor and major repairs, general plumbing and electrical, floor installation and refurbishing; Reliable and responsible; Confident in skills and abilities; Comfortable speaking with customers about work to be performed; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way
