Cash Processor

Due to an increase in workload, our Newcastle Cash Centre is looking for Cash Processors. This is a temporary position for 6 months, to be reviewed at the end of the contract term. Our Cash Processors ensure the safe handling and processing of customers money in line with customer requirements and company procedures.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe handling and processing of customers money; count, record, and reconcile customer deposits according to customer requirements; utilise high-speed processing machines; meet daily targets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency; adhere to security and compliance procedures; identify and report discrepancies

Requirements

Enjoy methodical processes; excellent customer service skills; work to a high degree of accuracy; ability to meet physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting and standing for prolonged periods; honest and trustworthy nature; aptitude to work as part of a team; ability to understand and adhere to internal policies and procedures; ability to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks; verifiable 5-year employment/unemployment/educational history; high level of integrity; positive attitude and desire to learn and succeed
