Casual School Meals Program Assistant

Do you love working with food and making a positive impact on students’ lives? We’re looking for Casual School Meals Program Assistants to help deliver nutritious meals and promote healthy eating habits across our district.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve delicious, balanced meals for students; Organize food service areas and keep everything running smoothly; Shop for groceries and manage supplies; Keep accurate records and maintain a clean, safe kitchen; Help create newsletters and fun activities that encourage healthy choices.

Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent education; At least 3 years of food preparation experience; FoodSafe Level 1 certification; Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide; Strong organizational and communication skills; Basic computer skills (30 wpm); Ability to lift and carry out physical tasks; Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
