Catering Assistant - Marie Curie - Belfast Hospice

Join our dedicated team at Marie Curie Belfast Hospice as a Catering Assistant, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality catering services that support patients, families, and staff. As a key member of our catering team, you will assist in the daily preparation and provision of meals and refreshments, ensuring a smooth and efficient service throughout the hospice. This is a hands-on role that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to supporting those in our care.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily preparation and provision of meals and refreshments; Ensure a smooth and efficient service throughout the hospice; Work as a key member of the catering team; Support patients, families, and staff through high-quality catering services

Requirements

Experience working in a catering environment; Solid understanding of Health and Safety standards and practices; Confident with minor food handling and preparation tasks; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment; Willingness to work towards a level 2 food hygiene
