Catering Assistant

Supermac's in Mitchelstown is seeking part-time catering staff to join the team. Applicants must be available to work a mixture of shifts between Monday and Sunday. Title: Catering Assistant. JOB PURPOSE: The Team member provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit a Supermac’s restaurant. The Team Member must interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner to achieve this result. It is the responsibility of the team member to carry out his/her duties in compliance with the training received, and the standards set in the Employee Handbook. The purpose of the role is to serve our customers the quality food they order as quickly as possible, in a friendly manner, ensuring the accuracy of the order every time. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced “non-stop” environment. Physically demanding at times due to certain requirements and the level of the business, quality of staff, and quantity of staff. Teamwork is essential to ensure the procedure runs smoothly in all areas, and communication flows. Only candidates who currently have the legal right to work in Ireland will be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness; Interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner; Serve customers the quality food they order as quickly as possible, ensuring the accuracy of the order every time; Work in an area to comply with company standards, adhering to safety and quality aspects; Work as part of a team, treating all staff and management with respect; Follow company guidelines and training in all aspects of food preparation, production, and storage; Portray a professional image both on and off the premises; Treat customers to warm and friendly service every time they visit the restaurant; Work with the management team to increase the number of customers and the amount of money spent every day; Ensure correct cash handling procedures are followed as directed by management; Ensure uniform and personal appearance complies with company guidelines; Be flexible to work in all areas of the restaurant as requested by the Manager; Constantly put the customer first
