CDL Crane Rigger (FT. Collins)

Sterling Crane LLC is in need of a CDL Crane Rigger at our FT. Collins, CO Branch. The crane rigger will assist the crane operator in the preparation of moving heavy materials, equipment, and the building of mobile cranes.

Responsibilities

Assist the crane operator in the preparation of moving heavy materials, equipment, and the building of mobile cranes; Ensure all applicable rigging meets safety requirements and Sterling Crane standards during the precheck process; Haul materials and equipment between job sites; Signal crane operator during lifts for directional or placement instructions; Guide and position loads as necessary at elevated heights; Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years previous experience as a rigger; Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards and ability to follow safety procedures; Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements; Strong knowledge of math applications, weights, measurements, equipment capacity limitations and weight limits; Problem solving skills and critical thinking to resolve and identify safety issues; Previous experience using crane hand signals; Team player who has excellent communication and customer service skills; Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as needed; Ability to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting; Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move a minimum of 65lbs; Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE; Ability to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects/materials; Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights
