Chartered Building Surveyor

A Chartered Building Surveyor is needed to join an established building consultancy in London, taking on a strong mix of commercial projects, professional work and client-led instructions. The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will join a growing consultancy with a long-standing reputation across the built environment. This is a role for a Chartered Building Surveyor who wants quality work, more responsibility and a clear route towards Associate level and beyond.

Responsibilities

Carry out pre-acquisition and condition surveys; Manage dilapidations and party wall matters; Provide contract administration and project management services; Prepare specifications, schedules and technical reports; Advise on property acquisition, development and asset management strategies; Support sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives; Maintain strong client relationships across a varied portfolio

Requirements

Strong technical background; Previous experience within a building consultancy environment

Nice to have

MRICS qualification; Degree in Building Surveying or a related field; Strong knowledge of building pathology, contract administration and project delivery; Experience managing multiple projects and priorities; Excellent communication and client-facing skills; Interest in sustainability and building performance
